This week, the project team worked with members of the Parkesburg community to prepare concepts for the train station and discuss opportunities for the borough. A presentation was delivered to the public in which the Plan the Keystone team recapped the events of the workshop, presented seven designs for the train station, discussed wayfinding and streetscaping, and informed the community on next steps for the project. The seven train station concepts were also displayed on boards so that the public could view the designs in detail and leave comments on each via sticky notes.
If you were not able to attend the workshop and would like to view the presentation, please find it here. We are continuing to look for public input so please post any comments below with ideas for the team to consider. Overall, the workshop was a huge success and we are excited about the positive feedback that we received. We look forward to continuing to work with the Parkesburg community to develop its vision for the train station!
